Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving
Unfortunately this photo is not the best quality, but it will suffice.
I was giving off an intense "mom from the 70s" vibe due to my lace detailed, slightly puffy sleeves and my white belt with a gold buckle.

Black Friday
I repeated an outfit I've already worn (only once though!). I just love how this look is technically monochromatic, yet it makes such a statement.
Besides eating a massive amount of food, I also drew this weekend.

Sadly, I am sick right now. But it's raining so hopefully that will help me get some shut eye.

Ciao,
Ileana

Fremont

I hate repeating the same mundane activities every weekend, so I was really happy to visit Fremont. My family and I took a mandatory picture with the troll. Then I bought the glasses I'm wearing in the picture at a vintage shop, and ate amazing Indian food. It was glorious.

October

This month has been a crazy whirlpool of stress, laughter and tears. As soon as I ended my swim team season an abundance of school projects took my new "free time". Thanksgiving's coming soon right? Anyways, onto the outfits.

Another day, another outfit

I decided to dress in this semi militarily fashion today, and I dig it.

Today was really uneventful, I allowed myself a lazy day because I was exhausted and already did all my homework (oh the woes of high school life!).

On a more interesting note, I watched this fascinating fake documentary that my history teacher recommended to us. It's set in an alternate reality where the South won the Civil War. The "documentary" displays American History from that point on. It can be difficult to watch due the harsh racism and sexism integrated in the film. But it's definitely worth a watch, to see how history directly affects the present.

Xoxo,

Ileana

"It's too cold outside for angels to fly" that's why I can't fly. Just kidding...kinda

Today's weather was insane. The streets are filled with broken trees and lonely souls cleaning up their lawns.

Luckily I did not lose power so can post this! Yay!

My friend Lily and I wanted to investigate the destruction further so we decided to go on a walk (aka we wanted food).

Destruction never looked so good.
I wasn't joking about this crazy weather... this tree broke in half

Yo yo my outfit. Gotta keep warm for this inclement weather.

Hasta luego,

Ileana

Outfit of the Day

Hey! Today was a surprisingly steamy day in the Northwest. I combatted my wonderful sweatiness by wearing a lightweight shirt and ombre shorts (anything else would cause me to melt into a human puddle). I also wore my new platform sneakers. They add a nice sheen to the outfit, and overall make my outfit look more interesting. I topped off this look with a nice black cap, to block  the sun and hide a bad hair day.

Welcome to Bainbridge Island

A couple days ago my family and I visited Bainbridge Island for the millionth time. I didn't expect to see anything new...but I was pleasantly surprised.

There is a new art museum that has been open for only a month. All the artwork is made by local contemporary  artists, definitely worth a look.

Here's some pictures I  took at the museum:

This is what I wore that day:

I'm glad I wore sneakers because we had to RUN from the ferry. This unnecessary exercise was all in attempt to try to reload our expired parking meter, which we luckily did not get a ticket for.

Outfit Of The Day

It was blazing hot in California, as usual. Correspondingly, I wore something simple and light to beat the heat. My crop top has grey and white stripes, with a hint of gold. I love how it looks like the gold is dripping down my shirt :)
Lastly, I wore my new black combat boots. I love how simple they are and I know I will wear them constantly during the upcoming school year.

Shorts: Goodwill/DIY
Combat boots: Ross
